Lime Horse mindfulness courses provide practical tools for reducing stress and improving workplace performance. Our courses qualify for a range of professional development certification requirements, and are accredited by the Law Society of Ontario and the Law Society of British Columbia.

Lime Horse mindfulness courses are tailored to meet the needs of high-performance workplaces. We offer training that’s highly engaging and immediately applicable.

NEW: The Integrated Professional: Stress Management

 

3 hours (3 x 1 hour modules)

Participants in this course will learn the benefits of mindfulness for stress reduction, and develop practical skills for effectively managing stress in the workplace. Informed by the latest neuroscientific and clinical mindfulness research, participants will explore tactics to become more resilient to stress, including: shifting perceptions, responding rather than reacting, improving awareness and cultivating a non-judgemental attitude.

By the end of this course, you’ll learn:

  • The science behind stress and its impact in the workplace
  • How to identify and prevent burnout
  • Ways in which stress undermines critical skills, and techniques to better manage it
  • How stress reduces personal efficacy, and practical tools for incorporating a daily mindfulness practice to improve resiliency

This program contains 3 Professionalism Hours.

This course introduces participants to the mental and physical processes that affect performance and explains the science behind our physical reactions to stress. Guided by the neuroscience of performance and attention, participants will learn to be present using mindfulness techniques. Through these teachings, participants will increase their ability to focus, develop a resilience to stress, and improve their capacity for innovation in the workplace.

By the end of this course, you’ll learn:

  • The science, practice, philosophy and processes that affect optimal performance
  • How to perform more effectively using encouragement, reward and self-compassion
  • How to effectively work through fear, stress and failure to improve your resilience and decrease your recovery time
  • Current trends and research on mindfulness in high-performance fields, including executive leadership, the law, the military, and professional sports

This program contains 1 Professionalism Hour. 

This program is eligible for up to 2 Substantive Hours.

In this course, participants will discover the importance of Emotional Intelligence and its role in promoting an effective, collaborative workplace. Through a deep understanding of Emotional Intelligence Theory, and by building their emotional vocabularies, participants will hone their self-awareness and improve their leadership skills. Participants will develop practical tools for leveraging Emotional Intelligence to foster better relationships with colleagues and clients.

By the end of this course, you’ll learn:

  • The theory behind Emotional Intelligence and its application in the workplace
  • How to build self-awareness, and how it improves leadership skills
  • The ability to use Emotional Intelligence to help meet client goals
  • How to use Emotional Intelligence to reduce risk in the workplace

Participants will discover how to increase their empathy, and how doing so can enhance their influence within a team.

By practicing organizational mindfulness and building their ability to focus, participants will learn techniques for building a positive environment for change.

By the end of this course, you’ll learn:

  • Why effective change management is crucial in the workplace
  • How to identify challenges in the change management process, while developing tools to overcome them
  • The science of stress and how it creates resistance to change
  • Techniques for fostering an environment that embraces change
